Pádraig is a poet, theologian and social healer whose work centres around themes of language, power, conflict and religion. He was the leader of the Corrymeela Community from 2014-19 (Corrymeela is Ireland's oldest peace and reconciliation community.) He has a reputation as a profoundly engaging public speaker and he has worked with groups to explore story, conflict and religion. When introduced onstage to deliver a TEDx talk on Story BBC journalist William Crawley described Padraig as "probably the best public speaker I know".
